Resources for academic success

Support groups for students with disabilities

Interested in talking with other students with disabilities? Join a support group! These peer support-based groups meet weekly each semester. Ask your Disability Specialist how you can get involved.

Learning and Academic Skills Center

The Learning and Academic Skills Center provides learning support services including classes, workshops, individual consultation, and study skills resources.

Multicultural Center for Academic Excellence

The U's Multicultural Center for Academic Excellence, part of the Office for Equity and Diversity, provides students with personal and academic support to help them achieve their academic and career goals. For more information about MCAE's programs, please call (612) 624-6386.

Center for Writing

Need help with writing? University Counseling & Consulting Services (UCCS) provides service in two principal ways: Student development programs and technical programs. To achieve this, UCCS plays several roles: educational/developmental (assessing and enhancing potential); preventive (anticipating, circumventing, forestalling difficulties); and remedial (assessing and remedying problems).
